KADUNA — Emerging security reports indicate that armed bandits have circulated a distressing video capturing an abducted couple and their infant daughter in captivity within Kaduna State, while slamming a massive N300 million ransom tag on their freedom.
The victims were originally seized during a late-night raid on Monday, October 5, 2026, when heavily armed criminal elements overran Alrahus Estate situated in Millennium City, under the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Security sources noted that a pregnant woman was also among the residents swept up during the violent home invasions.
In the harrowing footage making the rounds online, the seized homeowner, identified as Ahmad Abubakar Zakka, is seen desperately appealing to the government, security agencies, and the general public for urgent intervention. Chillingly, the clip reveals one of the bandits pressing an AK-47 assault rifle directly against Zakka’s head while issuing life-threatening ultimatums.
Zakka Begs For Financial Assistance From Nigerians

Visibly traumatized, Zakka sat beside his distressed wife and child, holding a visibly swollen hand as he pleaded for financial assistance to meet the captors’ steep demands.
“My name is Ahmad Abubakar Zakka. I am seeking help from God, and I am asking you to come to our aid. I was taken away on Monday,” he managed to recount in the footage. “Please, I am pleading for help. Please help me, help me. They are demanding a ransom of N300 million. Please come to our aid and help us,” he cried out.
The release of the video has further escalated panic and renewed intense public scrutiny regarding the safety of suburban communities in Kaduna State, where residents continue to bear the brunt of brazen bandit attacks and abductions. Authorities are yet to issue a formal operational update regarding rescue efforts as family members and sympathizers struggle to raise the exorbitant ransom.
